Getting to Bali

Most of what you need to know before you book.

Illustrated map of Bali

Flights

Fly into Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar (DPS). From the US the easiest routes connect through Singapore, Doha, Tokyo or Hong Kong. From India there are direct flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Plan to arrive by Sunday afternoon, May 23, for the welcome party that evening, and fly out from Wednesday, May 26.

Visa & passport

US, UK, EU, Indian, Australian and Canadian passports qualify for Indonesia's Visa on Arrival (about USD 35 for 30 days).

We highly recommend applying online before you fly at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. With the e-visa you walk straight through the electronic gates at Denpasar instead of waiting an hour or more in the line for a physical stamp.

Your passport must be valid for at least six months after your arrival date. Check the latest rules closer to the time.

Where to stay

All events take place at one resort in southern Bali, a short drive from the airport. Hotel details to come soon.

Airbnb and villa options are plentiful across southern Bali if you'd rather stay elsewhere; we'll share nearby suggestions along with the hotel details.

Getting around

Grab and Gojek (ride-hailing apps) work well across Bali and are inexpensive. Hotel transfers from the airport can be arranged ahead of time.

Cards are accepted at the resort and most restaurants. Carry some Indonesian rupiah for taxis, markets and small shops.

Weather

Late May is the start of Bali's dry season: around 30°C / 86°F, sunny, with the occasional short shower. Light fabrics, sunscreen and something for warm evenings.

Make a holiday of it

Uluwatu Temple at sunset and the Kecak fire dance. A day in Ubud for the rice terraces and Tirta Empul. Beach clubs in Seminyak and Uluwatu. A boat to Nusa Penida to snorkel with manta rays.

Questions

How do I RSVP?

Use the RSVP button on this page. It opens our RSVP form, where you can find your name, tell us whether you're coming, and let us know your meal preference, any dietary needs and your travel dates. One response covers all four days.

What should I wear?

Each event has its own dress code in the schedule above. In general, think light fabrics and colour. It will be warm and humid.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your invitation will say who is included. If you're unsure, message Ankur or Soumya directly.

Are children welcome?

Of course. Bring the whole family. Let us know how many little ones when you RSVP so we can plan food and seating.

Will there be vegetarian food?

Yes. Every event will have vegetarian options, and you can tell us about dietary needs when you RSVP.

Do I need to exchange money?

Cards are widely accepted. Carry some Indonesian rupiah for taxis, markets and small shops. ATMs are everywhere, including the airport.

Gifts?

Your presence in Bali is the greatest gift.

Will you join us?

Please let us know by December 15, 2026 so we can plan rooms, flights and plates for everyone.
